I got lazy to do a daily update like last year. Anyways, I could only say... OMG I SPENT WAY TOO MUCH. XD But it's all money well spent. I love all my 13+ (yes i lost count) commissions that I bought... one being a full watercolor by

and another being a fullbody pencil sketch by

. Others include

,

, and

. I want to list all the others that I commissioned, but all the cards that I collected are so unorganized, I have no idea who's who. *sigh* Also, I commissioned 2 from some artists. I also got a freebie from my friend cuz I did some Starbucks runs for her.

There were other people that I wanted to commission, but then I didn't notice their commissions until a bit too late, so I wasn't able to commission them. In a way, that's probably good since I really did spend too much already.
On top of art that I bought, I got to meet

and

, and I had a chance to actually hang out with them like outside of the artist ally. They are awesome people. I totally enjoyed hanging out with them and talk about stuff that's not necessarily art, but of course their art is amazing if you have not seen their art before.
Ok, so I have 2 disappointments from the artist ally.
1) I am in love with

and

art. But this year zeiva wasn't able to go, so then muhoho-seijin had to manage a table all by herself. Needless to say that means I wasn't able to get art from either artist.

I was looking forward to getting art from them again. *sigh* Maybe next year. I did get some prints tho.
2) So I have this Kuroshitsuji fandom thing going on... and I was not able to find a single Sebastian print that captured his essence. I left Fanime without getting a print or poster of him.

But I did get a cute bookmark from

. Also, I did get 2 awesome prints of Ceil... one by

and the other by

.
Other people that I saw were:

and more... um, yeah, I think I saw too many people to really list them all.

So literally I spent most of my days in the artist ally. I went into the dealers room a few times, but never stayed long. I bought white / blue cat ears. I wanted the black / lavender one too, but they ran out. *sigh* Maybe next year. Oh and on the first day before artist ally opened, I watched AMV Hell. Not exactly a big fan of it, but I did love one of them where they zoomed in on math problems on the chalkboard and started correcting all the steps. Since I am a math major, that was hilarious for me.

I've concluded that if possible, I'll go to AX next year. But I'll probably give up on it this year cuz considering how much I spent here, I need to start saving up about NOW. XD
Also, like last year, I've concluded I may be better than 2% of the people selling art... But I still don't think my art is actually good enough for RL money. Fake gold and items from avatar sites maybe, but RL money... maybe after my skills improve ten-folds.

Well, if I end up sitting at my friends table for hours like I did last year and this year, maybe I'll offer freebies to those people who commission my friend. Nice incentive to buy eh? 2 for a price of one.

But I think it really depends on what happens next year.

On another note, I just noticed that I have 9k+ pageviews. I always thought I was at 3k. LOL. Anyways, if someone gets the 10k mark (or whoever is closest to it) will get a freebie from me. Depending on when it gets hit (i.e. summer or when I have work), then I'll decide what to draw.

(i was too late to commission you at fanime.
you saw how bad and plain my art was IRL.
well, i mean if you want me to draw something, feel free to ask. could think of it as an art trade. tho i'm slightly ambushed by fake gold commissions (i.e. from sites like gaia and solia and such), so it might take a while... since i probably won't be able to work on them until summer hits.
yeah, an art exchange would be quite cool actually -- actually, would you be interested in doing a couple character designs (only if you have time..)? i'm currently trying to plan a comic in my spare time, and one of my biggest weaknesses is dressing up my characters. and since you've got a good fashion sense, it'd be nice if you could give some guidance. it's a contemporary story, so it shouldn't be too difficult, but if you're busy or if it's not your thing, then no worries.
i might be slightly busy the next 2 weeks cuz it's the last 2 weeks of school for my students. but once summer hits, i should have a lot more free time. but if there's anything i could help with even during this time, i usually check my messages everyday or every other day.
the script is still very rough at this point, and i'm hoping to get it more defined over the summer. i do have some character concepts that maybe you can take a look at and think about in the meantime, but there's no rush if you're busy. the setting is somewhat modern dayish, so you can draw from existing outfits or design something completely new if you fancy. anyways, thanks in advance!
and no worries. breaks from work is always good. i just tend to sometimes take too many of them. XD
